The workshop will be held in Killaloe, Co.Clare
Workshop involves the following;
Paper making using recycled materials. This will form a base for hand or machine stitching and fabric applique and paint application.
Introduction and demonstration on free machining embroidery or ‘drawing using stitch’
How to translate a line drawing or drawing into paper/stitch/fabric piece.
Applique and stitching on paper.
Mono printing onto fabric, combined with stitching and appliqued fabric.
If you own a sewing machine which facilitates free machining this is a bonus and it would be great if you could bring it to workshop for your own use, otherwise free machining will be
purely demonstrated on day.
